Radio Communications in Waterloo,
Ia Radio Communications Company
in Waterloo (RCC-WL) was created in 1969 and was originally located
in Cedar Falls Iowa. RCC-WL specialized in in two-way radio service
and that same year was appointed as a General Electric Service Shop
(GESS). The main focus was installing and maintaining GE two-way
radio systems in the commercial-industrial and public safety
markets. RCC-WL, maintained various communications systems in NE
Iowa. With the increased business and the resulting additional
personnel RCC-WL in 1975 moved to a larger facility in Waterloo to
provide space. Over the next decade sales and service expanded and
with changes in marketing products, a 13,000 square foot building on
the corner of Falls Ave and Fletcher was purchased and remodeled.
This facility was opened in 1994 and is in close proximity to major
highways for easy access. Our 3600 Square foot display area is the
largest of its kind in the Midwest.
RCC-CR and RCC-WL combined its ownership in 1971 to provide seamless
services over the entire Iowa market area. With almost 30 employees,
we now offer products, sales and service support to a wide variety
of clientele in eastern Iowa in the areas of wireless
communications, video surveillance, telephone systems, access
control and emergency vehicle warning products. RCC is proud to be a
key supplier of products and services for the current Iowa State
Communications Contract |

Radio Communications Company
in Cedar Rapids Iowa (RCC-CR) was created in 1964 by two technicians
specializing in two-way radio service. Appointed as a General
Electric Service Shop (GESS), their main focus was installing and
maintaining General Electric two-way radio systems in the
commercial-industrial and public safety markets. Over the years,
RCC-CR, maintained various systems in a 100 mile radius with a staff
of 3 to 4 employees. In 1988, RCC-CR made a commitment to expand
their market and services. Additional personnel was hired and a
larger facility was purchased and remodeled. Relocation to the
present facility at 2131 North Towne Lane NE was completed in 1989. |
